How To Effectively Onboard A New Client

Do you on board your new clients? On boarding is the process of introducing them to your business and building relationships with them. It’s an important part of setting up successful and long-term partnerships.

On boarding is something we’ve been working on and evolving over the years and we have a system now of about 20 things that happen behind the scenes to make a new client feel welcome and that they’ve made the right decision.

Here are just a few of the things we do:

  • An email welcome sequence that goes through and reinforces everything we’ve told you would happen at the kick-off meeting. It also serves as a reminder of what will happen next, when and how.
  • A welcome pack that goes out physically in the mail that goes through the process and is also a nice thing to receive.
  • Set up a birthday sequence so that you get a nice surprise on your birthday.
  • Sets up calendars, phone numbers, diary links, email addresses and everything else we need to get your campaign off to a great start.

And then on top of this, we also write your LinkedIn messages, scripts and follow-up emails and send all this over to you to approve.

Our on boarding sequence is really comprehensive and makes sure everything we said was going to happen, actually happens.
