Get the next ‘step’ in the diary

When you speak to a potential client, be it by phone, zoom, teams etc, it’s so important to get the next step in the diary.

But you’d be amazed how many people don’t do this.

They’ll confirm they’ll send over a proposal or say they’ll vaguely give the prospect a call next week, but it’s rare to find someone who puts another date in the diary.

Try and do this every time to speak to someone who’s interested.

At the end of the conversation, arrange a follow up zoom, teams or phone call but actually put a date and time in the diary so you both know you’ll be following up with that person then.
